How to Build Your Personal Brand as a Hybrid Entrepreneur

How do you separate yourself from the noise that is out there? Do you think more people do business with corporate brands or personal brands? Many people today would rather buy, than be sold and building a personal brand can make you the obvious choice in the eyes of your market to do business with.

If you are beginning to build your business or now experiencing your new endeavor taking off, it boils down to how you work ON your business versus being caught up working in it.

There will be a shift in mindset in how you approached business as an employee and how you now approach business as an entrepreneur.

Currently, what are you known for at this moment? Next, how do you want to be known as a professional, business person, entrepreneur? What do you want people to know about you as a person?

As far as social media, what does your profile(s) say about you? As the old saying goes, “a picture can tell a 1,000 words”. This is your opportunity to put your best “face” forward.

What does your associates you surround yourself say about you? The meetings and events you attend?

How will your position and market yourself both online and offline? What will be the experience your target market has before, during and after you meet with them? Do you leave something “sticky” in the minds about the problems your business solves? Are you the obvious choice when people are looking for solutions?

I can go on and on and on…I love this topic. What have you find to be helpful for you when developing your personal brand?
