While at a special invitation to the White House late last year, I ran into world-renowned actor/comedian Jo Koy. He gave me a candid interview before the first ever, celebration of Filipino American History Month. This event was coordinated by the White House Initiative for Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPI).
Of course we had to joke around about being Filipino. Some of our banter included the food we eat and the accent we grew up with. Plus, Jo Koy shares the realities behind the grind of show business over his entire career.
